Operational Readiness & Transfer Services

focused on people, systems and facilities

Operational Readiness and Transfer (ORaT) is the operational alignment, familiarisation and training of people, systems and facilities in readiness for opening and live operation. At apmc we understand it is therefore a critical part of the process for the opening or commissioning of any new facility whether it be an entire new airport, a new terminal building or a specific facility landside, within a terminal or on the airfield.

When delivering ORaT services we define the programme to protect the interests of the airport operator, the airport users such as airlines and passengers, airport stakeholders including service providers and concessionaires, as well as the integrity and perception of the country, air transport system and the infrastructure it provides to support air travel. Our approach to ORaT delivery is to focus on people, systems and facilities.

To simplify and organise the services to deliver within these three key areas, we offer our services across five phases as follows:

•    Planning
•    Program Development
•    Program Execution
•    Operational Trials
•    Post Opening Services

Providing experienced specialists spanning, landside, airfield and terminal operations, ICT, Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) and systems support, stakeholder management and project managers, apmc offer the following services to deliver a successful ORaT:
