Operational Readiness & Transfer Services (ORaT)

focused on people, systems and facilities

Operational Readiness and Transfer (ORaT) is the operational alignment, familiarisation and training of people, systems and facilities in readiness for opening.  At apmc we understand it is therefore a key part of the process for the opening or commissioning of any new facility whether it be an entire new airport, a new terminal building or a specific facility landside, within a terminal or on the airfield.

When delivering ORAT services we define the programme to protect the interests of the airport operator, the airport users such as airlines and passengers, airport stakeholders including service providers and concessionaires, as well as the integrity and perception of the country and air transport system and infrastructure it provides to support air travel. Our approach to ORAT delivery is to focus on people, systems and facilities.

To simplify and organize the services to deliver within these three key areas we offer our services across five phases as follows:

•    Planning
•    Program Development
•    Program Execution
•    Operational Trials
•    Post Opening Services

Providing experienced specialists spanning, landside, airfield and terminal operations, IT, BHS and systems support, stakeholder management and project managers apmc offer the following services to deliver a successful ORAT:

Parcel Handling System (PHS) Services

for a fast growing market

Due to continued growth in the parcel handling market within the UK and internationally, our parcel handling and logistics clients have found that they are quickly out growing their existing facilities and hubs. Consequently, there has been an increase in the need for professional and design consultancy services pertaining to the delivery of new or upgrades/expansion to existing facilities.
